    Stress is a feeling of pressure and strain. In small amounts, it can be beneficial and even improve someone’s cognitive and physical performance, but too much stress can be harmful.

    Since students are among those who experience too much stress, according to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), it's essential to know how to deal with this issue. The infographic below explains the main causes of academic stress and discusses some stress management strategies that will help students to avoid burnout. In case of being stressed out up to the point when students feel they can't cope with everyday stress, there's an option of taking a gap year. It will help to recharge the batteries, to restore emotional wellbeing, and to get ready for the new round.
