The Kolkata Annual Research and Medical International Congress

KARMIC-2012 is one of the biggest events of the medical students in India. It's an attempt by the Indian Medical Students' Association to act as a connecting link between the routine curriculum of medical education and the recent advances of medical science.

Derived from the Sanskrit word "karma", which means "deed" or "act" and more broadly means the universal principle of cause and effect, action and reaction, that governs all life, KARMIC also believes in the deed/act of exchange and sharing of knowledge to have the effect of enlightenment of the budding medical minds. The Congress aims to be a cobweb of the upcoming pioneers of medical science of the country. It also aims to bring together the Indian and the Global Medical students’ fraternity on a common stage to bridge the gap by exchange of knowledge and experiences.

So, IMSA welcomes you all to the event of the year KARMIC 2012, which will be held at the
Conclave Verde Vista.

The event KARMIC 2012, will be held on the 2nd until the 5th of June at Kolkata.
The event comprises of Workshops on Molecular Biology, Emergency Medicine, Organ Management and Bio-statistics.
Besides this the event has keynote lectures by eminent faculties around the globe.

KARMIC 2013 will be held on 12-14 April at Medical College, Kolkata
