    Some kind of ectopic tissue in the small bowel's wall? Like pancreatic isles or maybe adrenal tissue? Why no culture from the fluid? Or a wall biopsy when they opened the pat?

    it would be better if we knew more about her genetics. does she have relatives from Armenia or Israel. her symptoms reminds me of Mediterranian Sea-shore Disease, which is so common between these two race of peoples I have mentioned above. the symptoms fit with it but i don't have enough information.
    p.s. if my opinions aren't right don't laugh at me, cause i'm only a student :/

    It can be abdominal epilipsy or acute interrmetant porphyria , abdominal epilipsy fits more i suppose give her an EEG and try anticonvulsant drugs!

    C1-esterase deficiency or acute intermittent porphyria.
    Allergy is also a differential.
