    If you feel that you are stuck in a pharmacy and you want to find yourself a new path here is other alternatives that you can switch to.

    1. Clinical pharmacist :

    Clinical pharmacists work with physicians directly they practice in many health care environments including hospitals , outpatient clinics, emergency departments, community pharmacies, community based clinics, nursing homes and managed care organizations.

    They are educated and trained in many direct patient care environments and they perform a full range of medication decision making functions as part of the patient's health care system.

    They usually assess the status of patients health problems and decide the best medication for their needs and goals of care and advice the patients on how to best take their medication timing and dose.

    Also they follow the patient progress and consult with the patient physicians and other health care providers regarding the selected medication therapy.

    2. Pharmacoeconomics :

    Economics is a social science concerned with the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services. It studies how individuals, businesses, government and nations make choices on allocating resources to satisfy their wants and needs and tries to determine how these groups should organize and coordinate efforts to achieve maximum output.

    Health economics is a branch of economics concerned with issues related to efficiency, effectiveness, value and behavior in the production and consumption of health and healthcare.

    In board terms, health economics study and functioning of healthcare system and health affecting behaviors.

    Pharmacoeconomics refers to the scientific discipline that compares the value of one pharmaceutical drug or drug therapy to another, it's a sub discipline of health economics.

    It studies serve to guide optimal healthcare resource allocation in a standardized and scientifically grounded manner.

    3. Pharmacovigilance :

    The science and activities relating to the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug related problems.

    So they report any adverse drug reactions one of the famous institutions for it is the uppsala monitoring center and EPVC.

    4. Clinical research :

    It's a branch of healthcare science that determines the safety and effectiveness of medications, devices, diagnostic products and treatment regiment intended for human use.

    They conduct trials to answer some related questions to medication and behavior . These trials generate data on the safety and efficacy of drugs as vaccines.
    Famous examples for this practice are:
    CRA clinical research associate.
    CRO contract research organization.
    IQVIA
    Quintiles


    5. Medical representative :

    A medical representative or a product specialist job is to promote and sell their company products it can be a medicine or a device. A medical representative will increase product awareness, answer for any queries provide advice and introduce new products.

    You have to energetic outgoing and representable to be able to get this job.
