    Hey everybody.
I want to share my story. I've been using the EHR system for last 2 years. I won't name the provider, as this is confidential information. So, yes, EHR has many pros. Such as:
    1. There is a financial incentive for medical providers.
    2. Proper information is easier to document.
    3. Patients have better access to their medical records.
    4. It saves time.
    5. Orders can be initiated with greater speed.
However, recently, its main minus has begun to irritate me more and more. EHRs contribute to burnout by turning me into an unhappy data-entry clerk, and also by enabling 24-hour patient access without any system to provide compensation or coverage. This isn't what I expected from medical practice. So, now I’m even thinking about the dismissal.
And what do you dislike in EHR? Share your point of view ;)
