Every parent wishes a better life for his kids. From the moment your child is born, you just wish them an extraordinary future. Doctors may be very busy considering their career which forces them to be continuously updated by the recent researches but they tend to have the ability to give their children a healthy environment to grow safe having a better future than others.” Intelligence reflects the general ability to process information, which promotes learning, understanding and problem solving” says Linda S.Gottfredson, PhD, a professor of education at the University of Delaware.

So what do doctors give to their children other people don’t?

    · Genes

Joining medical school at any university requires high grades so; naturally your genes as a doctor are precious. According to a new study more than 40% of child’s intelligence is passed down from the parents.

    · Brain food

Following daily recommendation of vitamins and minerals need well educated parents with strong persistence which existed by nature in a physician. It starts from the stages right after breastfeeding, the real work begins when they move to whole foods, and they need an effort to make them like healthy meals instead of candy.

    · Psychological care

When you are a doctor, even not a psychiatrist, you know about psychological health more than anyone else .that gives you the ability to handle teenage problems by better understanding.

You have a background about personal space and you know when to interfere and when it isn’t your business.

    · High social economic state

Although young doctors have too little salary compared to what they may pay as university loan but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. As they grow up, their salary gets higher so; they can afford their children better schools, sports training and art classes. By trying more activities, you can easily find your passion and get the chance to be more creative at it. It has been found that growing up in a high economic standard of living ,elevates the chances of being raised as a happy and smart kid.

    · Role modeling

Parents are kids’ biggest role models at least for the very first years of life. Without the intention of being like your father ,you catch yourself behaving as if you are him in a situation or more.

As a doctor, you learn to be efficient when it comes to work. People die if you aren't. And as a child you may absorb this quality spontaneously.

Raising kids is hard but rewarding. It may be even harder than being on call for days. Seeing all your dedicated years work celebrating their life events year by year is incredible.

You don’t have to be a doctor to raise a smart child.

If one of your biggest thoughts that you don’t screw this up and intend that your child will be a productive member of society not a serial killer, then you will probably be a good parent.
