or maybe you are in a psychiatry class, and as the doctor is busy teaching about personality disorders and psychoses, you start thinking that you probably have one, especially Bipolar!!!!
after learning about psychiatric diseases, i try to relate my stress during exam with panic attack symptoms.. i keep wonder is it being a medical student we tends to have some of the psychiatric illnessess such as depression, ocd, panic attack, malingering and so much more?

Well, sometimes having some medical knowledge can actually be a blessing when confronted to a real and often misdiagnosed disease... We just have to use this knowledge wisely.
1. How do you explain experiencing the symptoms of the disease you are studying as a medical student? 2. What really happens to the mind of a medical student? 3. Have been told that the syndrome causes fear ( health phobia or health anxiety) in students and that some authors have suggested to call it "Nosophobia" rather than "Hypochondriasis" because of the low Hypochondriacal behavior in the students suffering this syndrome. 4. Nosophobia being the fear of contracting a specific disease which be heart disease, for example.
I feel like everyone at one point or another feels that way. Its inevitable to feel like that your perfect. Once you get into medicine, you realize that the only person you need to satisfy is yourself. did you get the marks you wanted? No? Then, go to educational resources or get a tutor. its okay to be struggling in a class. Its ok because things take time and not every subject comes naturally to every person. Medicine of all things should require persistance, the studying isn't done after medical school.
While I was reading Hepatitis I thought that I had the disease then I asked my professor to check it and he told me that it is MSS and I checked HbAg then it was negative
Yes, same also is happening to me. Now every food that i try to take, i feel that its contaminated. Slightest symptoms i get ,then im thinking of being sick with all that i have read about.
